BREAKFAST TO START THE DAY
IT'S AMAZING HOW BREAKFAST SAVES MY LIFE EVERYDAY. WITHOUT IT I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO.
I MAKE MY BREAKFAST AT NIGHT. YES I DO! IT'S EASY AND ALL I HAVE TO DO IS THROW IT IN THE MICROWAVE IN THE MORNING BEFORE I GO TO WORK OR AFTER I GET THERE. OF COURSE I HAVE TO GET TO WORK AT LEAST A HALF HOUR EARLY, BUT IT'S WORTH IT. I HAVE A BALANCED MEAL AND I'M READY TO WORK.
IT'S ESSENTIAL THAT I HAVE A GOOD MEAL TO START THE DAY. I THINK BETTER, I'M MORE AWAKE AND I NEVER HAVE THE GROWLIES. THEY GET ON MY NERVES. BUT ONE THING I MAKE SURE OF. I EAT WHAT I WANT IN THE MORNING, BUT IT ALWAYS INCLUDES THE NUTRITION I NEED FOR THE DAY. PROTEIN, VEGGIES, FRUIT, FIBER. THIS CAN BE ALTERNATED THRU THE WEEK ALL DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU HAVE A TASTE FOR. MY FAVORITE IS THE HARDBOILED EGGS, A PIECE OF WHEAT TOAST, AND CEREAL. I HAVE OTHER CREATIONS ALSO THAT COMPLETELY FILL ME UP. IF YOU EAT LUNCH, MAKE SURE IT'S LIGHT. THREE MEALS LIKE YOUR BREAKFAST CAN SLOW DOWN THE PROCESS OF LOSING THE WEIGHT.
ANOTHER ONE IS I'LL HAVE A SALAD WITH MY FAVORITE LIGHT DRESSING, USUALLY THE SALAD WILL CONSIST OF ONIONS, TOMATOES, SHREDDED CARROTS, SPINACH, A LITTLE GARLIC (OPTIONAL), AND MAYBE SOME FRUIT CUT UP IN IT AND A BOILED EGG. YOU'RE TAKING IN ALL YOUR ESSENTIALS IN THAT ONE MEAL. I USUALLY SPRINKLE SOME SPICES ON MY SALAD LIKE ONION POWDER, GARLIC POWDER, CILANTRO, PARSLEY, WHATEVER YOU WANT. BUT THE SECRET IS EAT EARLY. SOUP FOR LUNCH, OR ANOTHER SALAD, APPLE AND YOGURT, MOZZERELLA CHEESE ON A TORTILLA HEATED UP, YUMMY. CREATE YOUR OWN MEALS. ONE GOOD PIECE OF ADVICE, DON'T EAT PAST 4:00 IN THE AFTERNOON. LET YOUR FOOD HAVE A CHANCE TO DIGEST BEFORE YOU GO TO BED. WHEN I STARTED DOING THAT THE HEARTBURN WENT AWAY, HAVEN'T HAD IT IN 3 YEARS.
ONE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT EATING EARLY IS IT IS A MIRACLE FACTOR IN LOSING WEIGHT. YOU FEEL SO GOOD IN THE MORNING CAUSE YOU ARE READY FOR THOSE GOOD, HEALTHY BREAKFASTS YOU'VE MADE THE NIGHT BEFORE.
THIS IS A SURE WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT. WHEN I STARTED DOING THIS I WEIGHED 234 LBS., NOW I'M AT 145. MY GOAL IS 135, THEN I'M DONE. BUT SOMETIMES I SLIP ON THE WEEKENDS AND EAT LATER THAN I SHOULD, THAT IS DEFINITELY A NO NO. KEEP YOUR EARLY EATING GOING ALL WEEK. THE EARLIER YOU EAT THE DONUT, OR THE RASPBERRY SWIRL COFFEE CAKE, THE FASTER YOU DIGEST IT, PLUS TO MAKE IT BETTER - WALK. TAKE A STROLL AROUND YOUR HOUSE, OR EVEN AROUND THE CORNER. I DO THAT FOR 30 MIN. EVERYDAY AT MY LUNCH, AND THAT'S A GREAT 2-3 HUNDRED BURN UP. AND WALKING OFTEN LEADS TO BEFORE BED EXERCISES, WHICH I DO 3 NIGHTS A WEEK. YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT HOW YOUR BODY WILL TONE UP AND YOU'LL BE ON YOUR WAY TO A MORE ATTRACTIVE, HEALTHIER BODY. YOU KNOW YOU'RE LOOKING GOOD. I'M 58 AND HAVE HAD 2 CHILDREN, I HAVE A FEW FLAB SPOTS THAT I'M WORKING ON, BUT IT'S GETTING THERE. I'M NOT 28 ANYMORE, SO I ACCEPT WHAT I GET. BUT I'VE NOTICE MY ARMS ARE MORE TONED, BUTT, THIGHS AND MY LEGS LOOK LIKE THEY DID WHEN I WAS 30 YEARS YOUNGER. THAT'S MY MAIN PRIORITY. I'M SURE YOU HAVE ONE TOO.
SO GET STARTED ON YOURSELF. HEALTHY IS POSITIVE IN MY BOOKS, AND IT MAKES YOU LOOK GOOD TOO. YOU WILL POSITIVELY FEEL THE DIFFERENCE.
AND YOU LAST 10 POUNDERS, IT'S HARD, I KNOW, BUT SOMETIMES THE SNEAKING IN OF SWEETS, OR CARBS CAN SLOW YOU DOWN, JUST EAT IT EARLY, YOU'LL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE ON THE SCALE.
